Patrice Bouvier
Patrice Bouvier (France,1953) is a French reporter and portrait photographer. He received a degree in classics and business, followed by a Master’s degree in photography at Paris VIII. During those studies he joined the 30×40 Club, a meeting place for all the great photographers of the second part of the 20th century like Jean Dieuzaide, Robert Doisneau and Patrick Zachmann.
In 1977 Bouvier became an independent photographer, documenting political and cultural subjects. He enjoys working intimately with people, guided by the human body.
His work had been exhibited in Le Mois de la Photo in Paris (2000), Visa pour l’Image in Perpignan, the Museum of Modern and Archaeological Art of Aurillac, Le Mois de la Photo in Bratislava, the Museum of Modern Art of Taiwan, and the Photographic Museum of Finland in Helsinki.
