Gérôme Saint-Germain

Gérôme is specialised in fine art photography from the nineteenth century to today. He is a professional in the fine art industry since 2008, working with the most influential actors of the industry among which Galerie Perrotin, Howard Greenberg Gallery, Paul Hertzmann Inc. and Galerie Serge Plantureux. He has gained further experience working as a photography specialist for Sotheby’s for five years, where he was instrumental in unveiling major art collections and realizing world record auction prices. He uses this knowledge in his current activities as a curator, writer, academic researcher and art advisor.

Gérôme holds a Masters degree in the history of photography from the Université Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris I), is a member of the Société française de Photographie (SFP) and is a supportive member of several museum associations.
